Follow this step-by-step guide to create your own customized YouTube intro and elevate your channel’s visual appeal. Let’s get started!
Selecting a Template in Canva
Go to the Templates section in Canva. In the search bar, type YouTube intro. Browse through the available templates. Canva will display thousands—if not millions—of YouTube intro templates to choose from. Choose the template you like the most. For this tutorial, pick a simple option.
Customizing the Template
Once you select your template, customize it as it appears on the screen. Find the designated spot for your logo on the template.
Delete the placeholder image by clicking on it and pressing Delete. Go to the Images section in the side panel.
Upload your own logo file using the Upload button.
Drag your logo onto the designated area on the template. Add your logo here. Remove anything unnecessary from the template, such as unwanted icons or text. Select them and press Delete.
Add some text by clicking Text in the side navigation and selecting a text style. Insert a subtitle to give more context to your intro. You can do this by adding a smaller text field under your main title. Add your channel name in the place indicated on the template.
Finalizing Your YouTube Intro
Preview your intro animation by selecting the Play button above the canvas to ensure everything looks good.
Make any further adjustments to the layout, text, or images if needed.
Once satisfied, click the Download button in the top right corner to export your intro in your preferred video format.
Your YouTube intro is now ready to use in your videos!
